I've been doing some research on 1950's ranches. We bought our house a little over a year ago and it's been quite an adventure. I'll have to go back and post THEN and NOW pictures. In the meantime, this is my little blog about our "dream house" on almost 2 acres in the back corner of Canton, MI. We love the yard, the house and the surroundings (we are blessed with having a nature preserve on 2 sides of the lot!).
This is our front door. I'm finding out that it is most likely the original and quite a cool thing to have. Needs paint (as does the whole house), but other than that we love it too.
