I teased Kent that since we lived in the "country" now, I wanted a bunny. Key word = teased. Last week the kids spotted a rabbit hanging out with the squirrels and birds. I thought they were mistaking a squirrel. Turns out they were right. We think someone dropped off the bunny in the preserve...people buy them and then decide they don't want them. Kent cornered her and sure enough she's a domestic rabbit. A neighbors cage, and $65 later, I guess she's ours. Meet Maggie. She's very sweet. Today she bossed the 2 cats around. This should be fun.
