We're still brainstorming different ways to use K's Classic Apple Butter and Grandma Wiard's Chili Sauce. Tonight we made mini turkey meatloaf bites with the chili sauce. They were pretty good, just a couple of revisions and they are ready to add to the list. A salad accompanied them dressed in apple butter, dijon, shallot vinaigrette, topped with crisp apples, pepitas and crumbled bacon. That was definitely a winner.
Not the best picture, but it doesn't matter to me. What truly mattered was spending time with my sisters, sitting down to have a nice meal, and them being supportive in this adventure. Beth D - if you're reading this, we missed you!
