Here is what has been accomplished in one day. Tomorrow (weather permitting!?) the concrete will be poured where you see gravel. There will be concrete incorporated into the walk out to the sun deck as well.
Still contemplating the fate of this area. Not sure how I feel about the shape &/or size yet.
